I need less than 30 invitations, can you help?
Depending on the quantity needed, we may be able to help. However the cost will be higher than the prices listed. This also applies if you need extra invitations/stationery following an initial order. To avoid unnecessary expense, it's recommended that you include plenty of spare stationery at the time of ordering.
Can we have larger sized invitations?
Yes, of course. Our invitations are 5 x 7 inches, but we can print your invitations the next size up which is A5.
Are envelopes included with invitation orders?
Blank warm white envelopes are included with all invitation, save the date, RSVP and thank you card orders, with the option to upgrade to embossed or colour envelopes. More information on the envelopes we offer can be found here. Please note that we do not offer an envelope printing/addressing service.
Can I see a mock-up before my stationery is printed?
Once you have placed your order, a digital PDF proof of your wedding stationery will be emailed to you for review. This will give you the opportunity to see how everything looks and request any changes. Two rounds of free changes are included per item. Further changes are chargeable at £10 per item (T&Cs apply). Nothing will be printed without you seeing it first and giving it the okay.
Can I see a printed proof of my invitation?
A single printed proof of a standard invitation is available at a cost of £25 + £5.95 postage. Please note that colour can vary between different print runs and batches of card, so the colour of your finished stationery may not match the printed proof you receive.
Can we have an illustration of something else instead of our wedding venue?
Unfortunately not, we currently only illustrate venue buildings.
Can you create 2 venue illustrations using both of our photos, then we can choose our favourite?
Your stationery includes one illustration created from one photograph. If you would like to supply an extra photograph for us to illustrate, the additional illustration will be subject to a £25.00 design fee. Your illustration/s will be created once your order has been placed and full payment has been received.
To discover the size, card stock and quality of our invitations, please contact us with your address and the design you are interested in. Sample packs are £3.50 and include a colour chart plus one invitation and envelope of your choice. If you would like more than one sample, additional invitation samples can be included at a cost of £1.50 per invitation.
As samples are pre-printed they cannot be personalised with your names, wedding colours or venue illustration. Your sample will be posted 2nd class and dispatched within 1 week. Due to variations in printed colour and different batches of card, your finished stationery may differ slightly from the samples supplied.
Can the fonts be changed on the designs?
The fonts can be changed on all stationery. Please send us the name of the font you would like us to use.
Does colour always print the same?
Due to variations in the set up of computer monitors and mobile devices, colours can vary between screens. Printers are also calibrated differently, therefore printed colour will vary between different printers and different print runs. Different card stock will also produce different colour results, for example, seating plans and other large sized items will differ in colour to all other stationery. As a general rule, colour on screen will always look slightly brighter than the printed version. If you are particular about colour, it is recommended that all of your stationery is printed at the same time.
We only want to order 'on the day' stationery, when should we place our order?
To avoid disappointment, customers needing wedding day stationery are advised to order early (at least 8 weeks before their wedding). April to September are our busiest months. During this time we get booked up quickly, so can only take on a limited number of orders in addition to those already booked in the diary. A minimum spend of £200 applies.
Can I request changes after I've approved my proof?
Unfortunately not. Once you have approved your proofs for print, they are sent straight to the printers.
Do you offer a proof reading service?
We don't offer a proof reading service. As we use the exact wording you supply, you are responsible for checking your PDF proof for all content including dates, timings, spellings, spacing and grammar. If proofs are approved by yourself with mistakes and are subsequently printed, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery takes no responsibility.
What is your lead time?
It tends to vary per customer (depending on how many proof revisions). Visit our how to order page for our current lead times and a full breakdown of timelines.
