Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Once an order is placed with Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery, you have signified your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
A minimum order quantity of eight (8) applies to table names, table numbers and A5/DL table menu cards, a minimum order quantity of sixty (60) applies to place cards and DL individual menu cards, and a minimum order quantity of thirty (30) applies to save the date cards, wedding invitations, evening invitations, vellum wraps, colour envelopes, wax seals, DIY envelope liners, RSVP cards, information cards, belly bands and orders of service. If you require less than the minimum order quantity, even in the event that extra stationery is needed following the receipt of your printed order, the cost per item will be significantly higher than the prices listed. It is recommended that you include plenty of spare stationery at the time of ordering. Vellum wraps, self adhesive wax seals, colour envelopes, belly bands, DIY envelope liners and ribbon are only available to customers ordering their invitations from Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery. Vellum wraps, self adhesive wax seals, belly bands, DIY envelope liners and ribbon will be carefully packaged and supplied ready for you to assemble your invitation sets at home, unless you have upgraded and paid for the stationery assembly service. Place cards, table numbers, table names, A5 menus and DL menus are only available to customers ordering seating plans or orders of service from Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery.
Designs are copyright of Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery. You, or a third party, cannot copy or reproduce designs in any part or way. Designs that feature small parts and decorations are not suitable for children. Self adhesive wax seals, vellum wraps, deckle edging and hand dyed ribbon are hand finished and as a result slight variations between each item may occur.
Colour on screen will always look different to the printed version. Similarly, your printer may not print exactly the same as the printers Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery use. If you have provided a colour swatch, every effort will be made to match it as closely as possible. Due to the printing process, colour variation can occur between print runs. Therefore, colours will differ between your stationery sets and any samples or hard copy proofs that you receive. If you want the colour exactly the same throughout all of your wedding stationery, it is recommended that all of your wedding stationery is printed at the same time. Seating plans are printed on a different printer to all other wedding stationery, therefore the colour will differ to any co-ordinating stationery. Hand dyed ribbon and self adhesive wax seals are made to order, as such colour may vary between batches. Samples are available free of charge and can be requested ahead of placing an order.
Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery use 2 types of card stock: 300gsm warm white Italian hammered textured card for standard stationery, and for foiled stationery, 300gsm smooth white card finished with a velvet lamination. Belly bands are printed onto 150gsm white Italian paper and foil belly bands are printed onto 300gsm smooth white card finished with a velvet lamination. Card samples are available free of charge. Refunds will not be issued if on receipt of your printed stationery, you decide that you do not like the card stock. Seating plans, welcome signs, orders of the day and other signs greater in size than A3 will be printed onto 5mm smooth white foam board.
White envelopes are included free of charge with all save the date, invitation and RSVP card orders. Upgrades to colour envelopes are available for a small fee and can be requested at the time of ordering. Unless you upgrade to colour envelopes, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will supply 120gsm white envelopes with all invitation, save the date and RSVP card orders. Samples are available free of charge. Envelopes will be wrapped and packed separately alongside save the date, invitation and RSVP card orders.
Full payment in (£) pound sterling is required once you have confirmed your order. Accepted payment methods are cheque or bank transfer. Cheques should be made payable to Peony and Rose. For payment via bank transfer, details will be sent to you once you have placed your order.
Supply of Information
To minimise amendment and the need for reproofing, the information you supply for your wedding stationery must be your final draft with correct content including spellings, spacing, dates, timings and grammar. When your guest list and final details are confirmed, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery can create your orders of service, place cards, seating plan, welcome sign, menus and table names. The information to complete these must be with Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery at least 5 weeks before your wedding date. It is your responsibility to ensure this information is with Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery within this time line. Approval to print your orders of service, place cards, seating plan, menus, welcome sign and table names must be received by Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery no later than 3 weeks before your wedding date. This allows time for production and postage to you. Failure to adhere to this time line risks you not receiving your orders of service, place cards, seating plan, menus, welcome sign and table names in time for your wedding and Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will not be held responsible. Sometimes guests may change their mind at the last minute and where possible Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will help to alter seating plans and place cards so long as the items are not in print.
The image you supply for your venue illustration must be your own photograph so that you are the copyright owner. It should be a clear, face on view of your venue with the building as the main feature. Venue grounds, gardens and shrubbery should be kept to a minimum. We use software to transform your photograph into a watercolour illustration. This creates a copy of your photograph in illustrative form, as such we cannot add details to your illustration that are not captured in the photograph you supply. Due to copyright laws we cannot work from images taken from the internet, including social media unless we receive written permission from the copyright owner. A set illustration fee of £25.00 applies to customers ordering only one item from the Venue collection (e.g welcome signs, seating plans etc). Illustration fees do not apply to customers ordering save the date cards and/or invitations.
Proofs are free and sent as a digital PDF via email using the wording you supply and colour and design agreed in your order. You are responsible for checking the PDF proof for all content, including layout, colour (please refer to the colour section for more information), dates, timings, spellings, spacing and grammar. Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery does not offer a proof reading service. If proofs are approved by yourself with errors and are subsequently printed, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery takes no responsibility. If replacements are required, these will be charged for in full. On review of your proofs, if any amendments are required, all changes must be emailed to Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery. If you would prefer to see a printed proof of your wedding invitation, please notify Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery at the time of ordering. A charge of £25.00 + £4.95 postage applies for a standard wedding invitation or £35.00 + £4.95 postage for a foil wedding invitation. For delivery, please allow 7-10 working days (+5 days for foil invitations).
Once your order has been confirmed, and full payment has cleared, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will contact you within 1 working day for all of your wording and colour details. Once Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery has received this information, a PDF proof of your personalised wedding stationery will be sent to you within 2 working days. Once approved, your finished stationery will be printed and delivered within 7-10 working days (+5 days for all foiled stationery). Unfortunately these timings may alter due to unforeseen circumstances, if this is the case, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will keep you updated on your order.
Postage & Packing
All orders are delivered Monday - Friday. Delivery is tracked and will require a signature to provide proof of receipt. Delivery to mainland UK addresses is £4.95 (this excludes the highlands and islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands). Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery take extreme care in packing your stationery. In the unlikely event your parcel suffers damage, please write ‘damaged’ when signing for the parcel and report this to Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery within 24 hours via email. Failure to do so will impede any claim that is made and will mean that Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery cannot replace your items free of charge. If ordering wedding day stationery (orders of service, place cards, seating plan, welcome sign, menus or table names) alongside save the date cards, invitations or reply cards, all wedding day stationery will be dispatched separately at a later date once you have confirmed your guest list. The address for the delivery of your wedding day stationery must be provided at least 3 weeks before your wedding date. Failure to provide this information will risk your order not being delivered in time for your wedding and Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will not be held responsible.
Cancellations & Refunds
Hand dyed silk ribbon and self adhesive wax seals are made to order. It is not possible to change the colour, quantity or style once your order has been agreed and payment has been received. Orders for hand dyed silk ribbon and wax seals cannot be cancelled or refunded. As your wedding stationery is personalised and tailored to you, cancelled orders following the approval of the final proof can not be refunded. If you decide to cancel your order once design work has started and proofs exchanged, a 50% refund will be issued.
