Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Once an order is placed with Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery, you have signified your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
Quotes
Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Any discounts applied to quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
Samples
Sample packs are £3.50 and include one envelope and one digitally printed sample invitation. If more than one sample invitation is required, additional invitation samples can be added at a cost of £1.50 per invitation. Invitation samples are pre-printed and cannot be personalised with names, wedding information, wedding dates, venue illustrations or wedding colours. Samples are posted Royal Mail 2nd class and dispatched within 1 week. Other stationery items are not stocked as samples. Due to variations in printed colour and different batches of card, finished stationery orders may differ slightly from samples received.
Ordering
A minimum order quantity of eight (8) applies to table names, table numbers, reserved signs and A5 table menu cards, a minimum order quantity of forty five (45) applies to seed paper save the date cards and a minimum order of thirty (30) applies to all other save the date cards, place cards/tags, DL menu cards, wedding invitations, evening invitations, vellum wraps, colour envelopes, wax seals, envelope liners, RSVP cards, information cards, invitation bands, thank you cards, twine, ribbon and orders of service. If less than the minimum order quantity is required, even in the event that extra stationery is needed following an order, the cost per item will be higher than the prices listed. Vellum wraps, self adhesive wax seals, colour envelopes, invitation bands, envelope liners, thread and ribbon are only available to customers ordering their invitations from Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery. Vellum jackets, place cards/tags, self adhesive wax seals, vellum bands, envelope liners, thread and ribbon will be carefully packaged and supplied unassembled, unless the stationery assembly service was ordered. For customers ordering on-the-day stationery, a minimum spend of £200 applies.

Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery work directly with couples and do not accept orders via wedding planners.
Designs
Designs are copyright of Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery. You, or a third party, cannot copy or reproduce designs in any part or way. If you request changes in format, size or design to any of our stationery, we advise that no text or artwork is placed at the edge of a page as it risks being cut off when trimmed. Designs that feature small parts and decorations are not suitable for children. Variations between each item will occur in the following: self adhesive wax seals, tassels, vellum jackets, deckle edging, plantable seed paper and silk ribbon.
Silk Ribbon
We supply bias cut silk ribbon which always has splices along its length, this is not a defect and you should expect your ribbon to have splices. Additionally, silk is a natural fibre, and there may be small imperfections in the weave.
Colours
Colour on screen will always look different to the printed version. If you have provided a colour swatch, every effort will be made to match it as closely as possible. Due to the printing process, colour variation can occur between different print runs and different printers. Therefore, colour may differ between your stationery and any samples or hard copy proofs that you receive. Stationery larger in size than A3 and stationery printed onto plantable seed paper are printed on different printers to all other wedding stationery, therefore the colour will differ to any co-ordinating stationery. The colour of self adhesive wax seals and silk ribbon may vary from that shown on your monitor/device. Additionally, colour can vary between batches.
Card Stock
Card and paper stock are used as follows: 300gsm warm white textured card for all standard digitally printed stationery (A3 size or smaller), 300gsm smooth white card finished with a velvet lamination for digitally printed foil stationery (A3 size or smaller) and 200gsm warm white recycled card embedded with wildflower seeds for digitally printed A6 save the date cards. Wedding signs larger in size than A3 are printed onto smooth white board. 150gsm translucent vellum paper is available for the printing of invitation bands and 150gsm textured white paper is used for the inside pages of orders of service. Card samples are available for £2.50. Refunds will not be issued if on receipt of your order, you do not like the card stock used. Please note that colour can vary between different batches of card/paper stock.
Plantable Seed Paper
Due to the nature of seed paper and it's uncoated, uneven surface, imperfections in print may occur (e.g. a letter or graphic printed directly onto a seed may not show). This is a feature of printing onto seed paper and refunds will not be given. For best germination results, seed paper should be planted within 2 years. Germination cannot be guaranteed.
Envelopes
White envelopes are included free of charge with all save the date, invitation, RSVP card and thank you card orders. Upgrades to colour envelopes are available for a small fee and should be requested at the time of ordering. Envelopes will be wrapped and packed separately alongside save the date, invitation, RSVP card and thank you card orders.
Payment
Full payment in (£) pound sterling is required to secure your order. Accepted payment methods are cheque or bank transfer. Cheques should be made payable to Peony and Rose. For payment via bank transfer, details will be sent to you once you have placed your order.
Supply of Information
To minimise amendment and the need for reproofing, the wording supplied for wedding stationery must be your final wording with correct content. This includes spelling, spacing, dates, timings and grammar. The information to complete on-the-day stationery orders must be supplied at least 6 weeks before your wedding (unless otherwise agreed). It is your responsibility to ensure this information is with Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery within this time line. Approval to print on-the-day stationery must be received by Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery no later than 5 weeks before your wedding (unless otherwise agreed). This allows time for production and delivery. Failure to do so risks you not receiving your stationery in time for your wedding and Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will not be held responsible.
Venue Illustrations
The digital image you supply for your venue illustration must be your own photograph. Due to copyright laws we cannot work from images taken from the internet, including social media unless you receive written permission from the copyright owner. Your digital photograph should be a clear, face on view of your venue with the building as the main feature. Venue grounds, gardens and shrubbery should be kept to a minimum. We use software to transform your photograph into a watercolour illustration. This creates a copy of your photograph in illustrative form, as such we cannot remove details from your illustration or add details to your illustration if they were/were not captured in the photograph you supply (this includes colour, for example a red brick building cannot be made yellow or white). Please note: we cannot work from old photographs that have been scanned. Once your illustration has been created, only minimal colour changes can be made to your illustration, for example brightening the colours or muting the colours. Included in the cost of your stationery is one illustration created from one photograph. If you wish to supply more than one photograph, additional illustrations are chargeable at £25.00 each. Your illustration will be created once full payment has cleared. The Venue illustration vellum bands, paper bands, table menus and table numbers/names are subject to a £25.00 design fee, unless ordered as part of the Venue suite.
Proofs
Proofs are free and sent as a digital PDF via email using the wording you supply and colour and design agreed in your order. Prices include colour changes, font changes and wording changes. Two free rounds of changes (digital proofs) are included per item of stationery. Additional changes are chargeable at £10.00 per item of stationery. If on receipt of your digital proofs, you would like a complete redesign and change to another collection, a £25.00 design fee will be charged. You are responsible for checking the proofs for all content, including layout, sizing, colour, dates, timings, spellings, spacing and grammar. Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery does not offer a proof reading service. If proofs are approved by yourself with errors and are subsequently printed, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery takes no responsibility. If replacements are required, these will be charged for in full. On review of your proofs, if any changes are required, all changes must be listed clearly in an email to sophie@peonyandrose.co.uk. If you would prefer to see a printed proof of your wedding invitation, please notify Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery at the time of ordering. A charge of £25.00 + £5.95 postage applies for a standard wedding invitation. For delivery, please allow 10 working days.
Lead time
Once your order has been confirmed, and full payment has cleared, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will contact you within 1 working day for all of your wording and colour details. Once Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery has received this information, a digital PDF proof of your personalised wedding stationery will be sent to you within 5 working days. A fast track digital PDF proof service can be requested at the time of ordering. The fast track digital PDF proof service costs from £25.00 and will ensure proof(s) are emailed within 1 working day of payment being received. Once you have approved your proofs, your stationery will be printed. Digitally printed stationery will be dispatched within 2 weeks (plus an additional 1 week if the stationery assembly service, seed paper or deckle edge stationery has been ordered). Digitally printed foil stationery and 'on the day' stationery will be dispatched within 4 weeks (plus an additional 1 week if the stationery assembly service or deckle edge stationery has been ordered). In some circumstances these timings may alter due to unforeseen circumstances, if this is the case, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will keep you updated on your order. Throughout the year, Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will close for annual leave and will include closed dates on the front page of the website. It's important to note that this will affect standard processing timelines.
Postage & Packing
All orders are delivered Monday - Friday. Delivery is tracked and will require a signature to provide proof of receipt. Delivery to mainland UK addresses is £5.95 (this excludes the highlands and islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands). Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery take extreme care in packing your stationery. In the unlikely event your parcel suffers damage, please write ‘damaged’ when signing for the parcel and report this to Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery within 24 hours via email. Failure to do so will impede any claim that is made and will mean that Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery cannot replace your items free of charge. If ordering wedding day stationery (orders of service, place cards, seating plan, welcome sign, menus or table names) alongside save the date cards, invitations or reply cards, all wedding day stationery will be dispatched separately at a later date once you have confirmed your guest list. The address for the delivery of your wedding day stationery must be provided at least 3 weeks before your wedding date. Failure to provide this information will risk your order not being delivered in time for your wedding and Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery will not be held responsible.
Cancellations & Refunds
Tassels, ribbon and self adhesive wax seals are handmade to order. It is not possible to change the colour, quantity or style once your order has been agreed and payment has been received. Orders for tassels, ribbon and wax seals cannot be cancelled or refunded, neither will refunds be made for colour discrepancies. As your wedding stationery is personalised and tailored to you, cancelled orders following the approval of the final proof can not be refunded. If you decide to cancel your order once design work has started and proofs exchanged, a 50% refund will be issued. Peony & Rose Wedding Stationery reserves the right to cancel an order if the customer does not comply with our terms and conditions.
